A lady moved into a cottage and had a few bits of soot drop so had a sweep done to be on the safe side thankfully.....at least a foot deep the soot, parts turning into creosote 🔥😕

Make sure you have a sweep done at least once a year, for a sweep, CCTV inspection and smoke draw test along with a certificate for your home insurance is only £55! ...

3 firefighter crews attended a chimney fire in Dalton.....

"The occupants of the house were aware of the fire and had extinguished it in the grate but it was still flaming off in the top of the chimney," Mr Exley added.

"This happens a lot, especially with wood-burners, so it's a reminder to get your chimney swept regularly; once a year, as you can get a build-up within the chimney.
Not only can chimney fires put your home at risk but also neighbouring properties as it can spread to next door."

A sweep is only £55, its simply not worth taking the risk, keep your chimney clean!

This is what happens if chimneys are not swept regularly, they can become blocked which means dangerous gasses can come into your home and you are at risk of chimney fire 🔥 it can also mean you need your liner replacing which is very costly!!... It's really simple to avoid, a sweep should be done a minimum of once a year!

A sweep including CCTV inspection and smoke draw test along with a certificate for your home insurance is only £55
